- We aim to showcase the importance of arts in education (and life) by giving a stage to the collective creative momentum happening in Jacksonville.
- Products:
- Anyone (any age, any background) in Jacksonville, FL can participate. Each square is 5" x 2" deep.
Request a square and paint, collage, or alter in any way and return (we'll post how in the next couple of days) within a 2 week period of time.
After a 4 months, we will stop collecting squares and will assemble them for an installation in a public space (TBD).
Each artist must agree to donate their creative square to the project. You won't have it returned. We'd appreciate $1 for the cost of wood, but will find someone to cover your buck if needed.
Subject matter must be appropriate for public viewing and children's audiences. Our committee has the right to remove any square deemed inappropriate.
Project will begin April 1st and close July 31, 2010.
(one square per person)
